Our handling of your data is based on 'Privacy by Default'. In addition to the EU regulation, the Austrian Federal Act on the Protection of Natural Persons with regard to the Processing of Personal Data (Data Protection Act - DSG) applies.

Storage Duration

Unless otherwise specified, we store data collected from you only as long as necessary for the respective purpose, unless there are statutory retention obligations that prevent deletion, e.g., from commercial law or tax law.

Rights of Data Subjects

As a data subject, you have the following rights regarding your personal data, according to Art. 13, 14 GDPR. You have:

  • A right to information about, among other things, the categories of processed data, processing purposes, storage duration, and any recipients, according to Art. 15 GDPR and § 34 BDSG.
  • A right to correction or deletion of incorrect or incomplete data, according to Art. 16 and 17 GDPR and § 35 BDSG.
  • Under the conditions of Art. 18 GDPR or § 35 para. 1 s. 2 BDSG, a right to restrict processing.
  • A right to object to processing according to Art. 21 para.1 GDPR, provided the data processing was based on a legitimate interest.
  • A right to revoke consent given, effective for the future according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR.
  • A right to data portability in a common format according to Art. 20 GDPR.
  • You have, according to Art. 22 GDPR, a right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. This includes profiling in the sense of Art. 4 No. 4 GDPR.
  • You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority according to Art. 77 GDPR about the processing of your personal data by us, especially in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

Transfer of Data to Third Countries

We only transfer or process data in countries outside the scope of the GDPR (third countries) if you consent to this processing or if there is another legal permission. This applies particularly when the processing is legally required or necessary to fulfill a contractual relationship and in any case, only as far as it is generally allowed. Your consent is most often the primary reason that we process data in third countries. Processing personal data in third countries such as the USA, where many software manufacturers offer services and have their server locations, can mean that personal data is processed and stored in unexpected ways.

We explicitly point out that, according to the opinion of the European Court of Justice, an adequate level of protection for data transfer to the USA only exists if a US company, processing personal data of EU citizens in the USA, is an active participant in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Processing by US services not actively participating in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework may lead to data being processed and stored non-anonymously. Furthermore, US government agencies may access individual data. It may also happen that collected data is linked with data from other services of the same provider, if you have a corresponding user account. Where possible, we try to use server locations within the EU, if offered.

Security of Data Processing

To protect personal data, we have implemented both technical and organizational measures. Where possible, we encrypt or pseudonymize personal data.

Cloud Applications

Our website uses cloud-based applications. Cloud-based applications refer to software components provided for us by a third-party on their servers. When you use these applications, personal data may be generated at the third-party, which they can process on our behalf according to our and their privacy policies.

The legal basis for the use of cloud applications and the transmission of your data to these is Art. 6 GDPR (Legitimate interest in data processing), unless otherwise specified for the respective service. The legitimate interest arises from our need for a technically flawless and fast presentation of our website and the relief of our IT infrastructure. You can object to the processing of your data based on our legitimate interest at any time under the conditions of Art. 21 GDPR.

External Hosting of the Website (Vercel)

This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). The personal data collected on this website are stored on the host's servers. This may include, but is not limited to, IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses, and other data generated through a website.

The use of the host is for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online offer by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our host will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill its performance obligations and follow our instructions regarding these data.

The data is also transferred to the USA depending on the server location. We have concluded a contract for order processing (AVV) with the provider mentioned above. This is a contract required under data protection law that ensures the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only according to our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
